Instead of asking what if... ask why not?

my personal altered computer

poser.
We were asked to create a personal altered computer. I went about this at first with difficulty thinking about different fabrics i could use. It wasn't until i sat back and thought about what is around me that i realised there is alot more materials to use than just the obvious fabric. I  started looking at the concept of animal, vegetable, mineral. this thought process lead to water, then on to glass and the two combined to become mirror.
In my work simplicity is key. Instead of trying to build a physical computer i played with the idea of it being compact like the recent apple products.
I knew that for uni i would be carrying alot of books, so what better way to transport my computer than in the book that i designed it in.
By simply cutting mirror in to two rectangle shapes  i stuck them into my book forming a laptop format. Brilliant!
So when you look into the bottom mirror, you see your forehead, or in this case your thoughts hitting the key board, and instead of having to type them, your brain enters them automatically.
(In this case something personal.)
The reason i didn't apply keys to the bottom mirror is because i wanted the mirror to act infinity invariable, just like your thought process.
When you look in the the top mirror, you see your reflection, this is the output of your input, if this makes sense.
Basically what you have inputted into the keyboard, is processed and then leads to the output. This being your own reflection. You cant really get more personal than that. =]
By the way, the picture doesn't really do it just.
